When it comes to Mille Lacs Lake, February is all action. With four major fishing contest events, the Minnesota Vikings Arctic Blast and Garrison's Ice Race weekend, it's truly the Big Pond's best winter month to get out and enjoy! In 28 days, you get good fishing and plenty of fun. Permanent fish houses must be off the ice by the last day of February as well. Here's a look at what lies ahead:

Actually you have until midnight on March 1st to have your house off. The law was changed and reads the 1st Monday in March. Thanks!
